Course Description

Introduction to machine components. Electromechanical linear actuator. Position encoding systems. Speed reducers. Brakes and dampers. Principles of pneumatic systems. Linear / rotary pneumatic pistons, pneumatic linear actuators, pneumatic motors. Compressed air controls. Applications of pneumatic systems in transfer and sequence of movements.
