SHORT CV
Assistant Professor Lazaros Papadopoulos received a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2005, from the Department of ECE at the Democritus University of Thrace. In 2008 he obtained a Master’s Degree from the same Department. He earned his PhD in 2016 from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. Subsequently, he worked at the ICCS research institute on several European research projects related to embedded systems, high-performance computing and computer systems’ security, serving as a senior researcher or technical coordinator. Additionally, he conducted research as a visiting researcher at the IMEC research center in Leuven, Belgium, and at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. With over 45 publications in international journals and conferences, he has received two Best Paper Awards. Since May 2024, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department, continuing his research in resource management for embedded and high-performance computing systems.
