Christos Filelis-Papadopoulos received his Dipl.-Eng. degree from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the Democritus University of Thrace in 2010 and his Ph.D. in Numerical Analysis and High Performance Scientific Computations from the same Department in 2014. His research interests include preconditioned iterative methods, multigrid and multilevel methods, computational mathematics, computational physics, as well as parallel computing, cloud computing, big data and machine learning. He taught in several universities as an adjunct faculty member and as a researcher to the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). He has over 80 publications in the above research areas and participated in several European (H2020) and National funded projects such SFI FinTechNext (UCC, Ireland). Currently he is an Assistant Professor at Democritus University of Thrace, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
