Theodoros N. F. Kaifas (M’08–SM’11) received BSc degree in Physics, MSc and Ph.D. (2004) degree in Electronic Physics, (Radioelectrology) Specialization in Telecommunications, from the Department of Physics, School of Science, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Thessaloniki, Greece. Since 1993 is a member of the Radio Communications Laboratory (RCL), Department of Physics, AUTH and during 2004-2022, was an Adjunct Professor for the Program of Postgraduate Studies in Electronic Physics (Radioelectrology), AUTH. During 2001–2008, he was an Adjunct Professor with the Department of Information and Electronic Engineering, International Hellenic University, Greece, and during 2006–2007, with the Department of Technology Management, University of Macedonia, Greece. He is currently with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), Xanthi, Greece as an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Kaifas has a broad knowledge and experience in information technology and communications and expertise in wireless communications (Terrestrial/ Non-Terrestrial Networks), RF/microwave circuits, antenna analysis and design, aerospace applications, and functional-theoretic and computational methods in (bio-) electromagnetics accompanied by extensive contributions to relative literature and funded research projects.
Dr. Kaifas is a senior member of the IEEE, a member of the “ARIS Members Society,” the Hellenic Physicist Union, the Hellenic Club of Electronic Physicists and the Karatheodori Friends Association.
