| Introduction to Acoustics. Sound Sources. Sound Propagation. Sound Waves. Solution of wave equations, sound propagation in the atmosphere. Electrical – Mechanical – Acoustic equivalents. Resistance, Complex Resistance. Sound measurements. Natural Acoustics – Loudness. Noise. acoustical-mechanical and electromechanical transducers, transducer sensitivity, equivalent circuits. Microphones: Definitions, capacitor microphones, dynamic microphones, ribbon microphones, microphone usage. Loudspeakers: Definitions, diaphragm operation, speakers, loudspeaker evaluation, loudspeaker design parameters. Frequency separation circuits. Electroacoustical measurements. | ||
