| Historical review. basic principles. Radar equation: minimum detectable signal, pulse integration, radar cross-section, system losses and propagation problems. CW and FM/CW radars. MTI and pulse Doppler techniques. Tracking radars: conical scan and monopulse techniques. Synthetic aperture radar (SAR). Over the Horizon, OTH-radar. Applications in air-traffic and sea surveillance. Bistatic and 3-D radars. | ||
