| Analysis of integrated transmission lines and passive components: microstrips, striplines, coupled lines, hybrid junctions and couplers. Microwave transistors: MESFET, HEMT, HBT, BJT. Scattering parameters: flow diagrams – stability conditions. Biasing active devices. Matching networks. Design of low noise (LNA) and high power amplifier (HPA), narrow-and broad-band. Design of filters mixers and oscillators. Applications employing microwave CAD software. | ||
