Course Description

Introduction to Digital Systems and Signals. Conversion of Analog Signals to Digital and Digital Signals to Analog: Sampling, Quantization, Sampling Rate Conversion. Bilinear Z-Transform. Discrete Time Fourier Transform (DTFT), Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT), Discrete Fourier Series (DFS), Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). Implementation of Discrete Time Systems. Quantization problems. Analysis and Design of Digital Filters.
