| Line coding (Manchester Miller, AMI,HDB3 etc). Constellation Diagrams. Digital Modulation Techniques BPSK, DPSK, DEPSK, QPSK, 16QAM, FSK, MSK, π/4DQPSK. Timing (clock) recovery. Spectral (bandwidth) efficiency. Nyquist Theorems (minimum required bandwidth). Raised Cosine filters. Eye-diagrams. Differential 16QAM modulation – V.29 standard. MSK, GMSK, π/4DQPSK modulation techniques, Duobinary encoding, Partial Response Signaling (PRS). Cosine Filters. Phase-Locked Loops (PLL). Synchronization, Bit Synchronizer. Frequency synthesis with PLL, DDS and their combination. Pseudo-random generators – Scrambling. | ||
